Good suggestion Alan. I tried it for a week. 38 years ago. Still going.

I'm not sure if it was 2020 or 2021, but in response to a challenge @Alan Weiss made on the Forum to make a change that will give me back one week in the coming year, I used TV news as my method of reclaiming some time. I had previously convinced myself that remaining current required that cable news always be on in my office. The removal of that single distraction proved signifiant in improving my daily productivity.  I assess that I gained much more than one week back.

Yes! Plus, it doesn't wreck with your emotions.
