October 17, 20223 yr comment_225791 I'm lucky to fly Delta almost exclusively out of Detroit. I honestly can't recall a bad experience. I know they've been doing a ton of work with their lounges at some of the larger airports. The one complaint I hear is that between Skymiles and AMEX partnerships, it's relatively easy to get "status" and Skyclub access which makes most of the hub airport lounges (JFK for example) almost too busy. I've been at LGA when they've had a Nathan's Hot Dogs cart in the club. Report
October 17, 20223 yr Author comment_225794 Article in NYT Sunday, there are super-exclusive lounges around if you pay the price. The end of civilization came when the government ruled "by invitation only" for best customers to be discriminatory. So now I have to watch people clip their nails, lounge in flip flops and tee shirts, and curse loudly on their phones. An exception are the revamped Centurion Lounges where you wave your Black Card and the staff clears out entire areas for you. I like that. There's a $4,000 exclusive club in LAX with its own TSA.
