Alan, a friend of mine used to work with a "gig economy" company called Wyzant. They do background checks, and they bill themselves as "tutoring," but seems like the type of concept you're talking about. Is that similar to or different than what you envision? Do you think that them billing their service as "tutoring" perhaps limits their appeal and/or discoverability?
