A Minute with Alan® — Great Lines

I’ll never forget the time we went to the restaurant in Providence and the waiter came out extremely nervous, sweating profusely.....

“Mr. Weiss, I apologize, but I neglected to tell you how much that vodka is. Each shot is $75 dollars.”

Without missing a beat, “Who do you think the Bentley outside belongs to?!”

God, I remember that now! And then we had a bottle of Tignanello, right?

That waiter, John, became my wife's and my favorite waiter there, and he would bring the Clix vodka without even asking when we sat down!

Yes, we did! Great evening and good memory!

You also "taught" me in Boston, I think, how to use Uber. I never quite got it and kept asking you to find one as we moved around all night, because that way it all went on your account.

It was in San Francisco and we went to Gary Danko, then to a cigar bar.  Good times! That was when Uber was only black cars, very early days.

Great time. I asked the guy who ran the cigar bar how many cigars he smoked a day. He said, "Too many."
